The United Arab Emirates government has approved the expansion of the visa-on-arrival program to Indian nationals holding residency visas issued by the United Kingdom or a European Union country. This follows a move in May 2017 this year that granted visa-on-arrival privileges to Indian nationals holding United States-issued green cards or visas valid for at least six months.
The visa-on-arrival program for eligible Indian nationals allows them to remain in the UAE for up to a period of 14 days. Stays of longer than 14 days will require obtaining an extension and payment of an additional government fee.
